Kaizen is derived from the Japanese words“kai” meaning change, and “zen” meaning good. The ideology of kaizen refers to making small, regular improvements and involving individuals throughout all levels of an organization for the betterment of the whole.

Under this philosophy of incremental improvement, Kaizen Initiative strives to work closely with its youth members for continuous self-improvement using reinforcement of positive values, developing team work and self-confidence, and fostering a genuine appreciation for diversity and culture for the betterment of our society.

Members of Kaizen Initiative will participate in various activities throughout the year to further this mission of youth development. Membership is free for any interested individuals in the Los Angeles area.
